The possibilities for expediting space exploration are nearly endless; space missions could "asteroid hop," refueling and repairing as they went.
So too are the potential financial benefits. The platinum alone that could be mined from an asteroid would be many times that which has been mined on earth in total.
Anyone have any idea if the government of Luxembourg has a framework designed for how citizens of the Grand Duchy would benefit?
I'm wondering if there's something along the lines of how residents of Alaska receive oil revenue royalties.
I'm imagining a very Saudi Arabia-like system, with extremely generous subsidies.
