For those that have gotten their passport through an Embassy or Consulate: how long after your Consulate/Embassy appointment did it take for your passport arrive?
I went to the San Fransisco Consulate in February and was told (if I remember correctly) the passport should get to me in 4-6 weeks but I've not received anything yet (it's now been 13 weeks). I'm starting to wonder if this is an anomaly and I should reach out and flag it or if this is normal. Maybe I misheard 4-6 weeks and it's really 4-6 months? But that seems odd because the passport is only valid for 5 years so 6 months for delivery would mean it would be 10% expired by the time it gets to you. I've been monitoring the FedEx tracking number on the waybill I prepaid for and left at the Consulate, and it hasn't been scanned yet, so I know it hasn't gotten lost on its way from there to here.
Anyway, I appreciate any info!

I went through the DC consulate and it was 4-6 weeks, even to make it up here to Canada. So i think you are well past due. I would definetly get in touch with the consulate and flag it. I don't know what they would do but it certainly is stuck somewhere.

Thank you for this info! I would feel bad badgering anyone without context, so it helps to know that 4-6 weeks is actually correct and that I'm not crazy.
I'll see if I can give them a call. Thank you again!
