I apologize for asking, but I just can't seem to find out conclusively from what I've read...
My descent: Great-great-great-grandfather born in Luxembourg in 1850. His son (my great-great-grandfather) born in U.S. His son (great-grandfather born in U.S.). His son (my grandfather) born in U.S. His daughter (my mother) born in U.S.
GGGGF (Lux) > GGGF (U.S.) > GGF (U.S.) > GF (U.S.) > Mother (U.S.) > Me
Would my mother have to apply and receive citizenship, and only then would I be eligible? Or am I eligible to apply myself?
Thank you in advance for your help!!

www.luxcitizenship.com/article-seven-lux-citizenship/Yes. Who Is Eligible Under Article 7? Lux all male family tree You have a male ancestor who was born in Luxembourg between 1815-1940 or who otherwise had Luxembourg nationality AND, all previous generations in your family line have passed from a father to son leading up to your father OR, your mother had an all-male line before her (as long as you were born after Jan-01-1969) See the bottom of the page if you think this does not apply to you. Processing time is a couple of years.
