Just curious if anyone has completed phase 1 in person and if there are any advantages or disadvantages to completing phase 1 in person vs just mailing it in.
The reason I am asking is that I will be on vacation in Luxembourg in a few weeks so mailing the documents in will not be that much quicker as opposed to just doing it in person. Though, if there is no clear advantages then I will just simply mail them in in a couple of days.

Hi Moike. At the time I was finalizing phase 1 I asked if I could simply pop in to bring the docs (I live in Luxembourg), but I was told to simply send them over instead. I guess this department is not designed to meet people, therefore it's either phone, e-mails or letters! But do not worry the post system is efficient and your docs will eventually arrive!

I'm not worried about them not making it there. I just know in the site it says you can mail them in "to save yourself some time" but like I was saying I will be there in a couple weeks so the time saved isn't much of s difference. My main concern was just if there are any advantages to giving it to them in person. Maybe pushing the process through a little quicker or something.

Did you ask them if you can come to their office? Maybe now it is possible. But I doubt you would save anytime in the process. You would however lose time you could spend visiting Luxembourg!

I've spent time in Lux I love it. Therefore this is true, I would rather not waste time while I am visiting. Just wanting to be sure of the quickest route.
