Is anyone here willing to create a Facebook group about Lux citizenship through ancestry? I bet this would attract more people who are looking for information and all!

Mate, you put the fountain of Medicis as a picture of the group! This fountain is actually in the "Jardin du Luxembourg" gardens, which is located in...Paris, France!

I meant to put a picture I had of the train station. Not sure why that one came up. As for the tags I clicked the first three that came up when I typed in Luxembourg. As said I was in a rush.

Do you mind changing to privacy settings of the group to "private"?

Yeah I can do that. I thought it might have been a little easier if it was open. Have you added the group?

The group is now private.

Doesn't a private group defeat the purpose posed for the group, which was to "attract more people who are looking for information"?

That's what I kind of figured. But I guess if it is closed then it forces them to add the group. lol.

If it is an open group, then all your posts are public, if it is a closed group, then your privacy is somehow protected as only members of the group can check what you wrote!

If it is an open group, then all your posts are public, if it is a closed group, then your privacy is somehow protected as only members of the group can check what you wrote! It is better to have a closed group and to simply admit members who would like to join. Privacy is a concern that many people have. I know people who refuse to even use Facebook for privacy reasons.

Once there are more members added to the group it will bet easier to manage. It's a little difficult to run a group page with out many members. So if you read this and have a face book don't forget to add: www.facebook.com/groups/luxembourgcitizenship/
